Over 50 years of experience
What started in 1951 with the founding of a craft business in Waldenbuch, has developed into a success story with numerous innovative highlights. In 1954 the series production of preheater washing boilers started. Following this "in series production" came heating oil tanks, cylindrical tanks made from glass-fiber-reinforced plastic (GFK), the legendary double-walled NAU-GFK-Ball (one of the safest forms of tank) and containers as well as roller containers. In the 80’s, the NAU GmbH got involved in storage tank technology and produced hot water storage tanks (up to 2,000 liters) in series. A new era began in 1993 with the production of solar collectors and rainwater systems.
Entry of the building materials group Leitl.
In 2003 the Bauhütte Leitl-Werke GmbH; Austrian producer of building materials and tanks, took over the Stefan NAU GmbH. Dipl.-Ing. Florian Leitl was appointed managing director of NAU GmbH in Moosburg by the parent group.
